Attendance & Absence

If your child will be away due to illness, an appointment, or an extended absence, please call the school to report it. If we have not heard from you, we are required to follow up to confirm your child’s whereabouts. If you're calling outside of school hours, please leave a voicemail with the following information:

• Your child’s name
• The reason for the absence (e.g., illness, medical appointment)
• The date(s) your child will be away

Late Policy

Students who arrive at school late are to report to the office for a late slip before going to class. An “excused” late is defined as a medical appointment or other event of that status. All other late arrivals are considered “unexcused”. Parents of students who are frequently late will be contacted by an administrator in order to develop strategies together that will help the student arrive at school on time.

Late Arrival & Early Pick-Up

If your child will be arriving late or leaving early, please notify the school by calling or by checking in at the main office. Keeping us informed helps ensure accurate attendance records and supports student safety in case of an emergency.
