First Day of Classes

First day of classes for Grades 1-4 is August 31 at 8:30am An email will be sent from your child’s new teacher explaining first day procedures.

Kindergarten staggered entry beginning of the year
- Staggered Entry August 31: Students last name (A-L) 8:45-10:45 AM Meet at the front door
- Staggered Entry September 1: Students last name (M-Z) 8:45-10:45 AM Meet at the front door
- Shortened Day September 2: All Kindergarten students 8:45-10:45 AM Meet at the front door
- Full Day September 3: Regular hours for Kindergarten 8:30-11:50 AM Meet at the front door

General information
- Our office opens on Thursday, August 27 at 10 AM. We can be reached at windsorpark@cbe.ab.ca (we do not check emails over the summer).
- A welcome email message will be sent by your child’s new classroom teacher identifying Teacher Name and Room Number by August 28, 2026
- School dismisses at 3:00 PM for grades 1-4 (differs for Kindergarten) Monday to Thursday and 12:35pm on Fridays
- All information and required forms will be completed digitally through MyCBE. No paper packages will be sent out. Please consider signing up to be a volunteer – also done through MyCBE. Annual clearances will be sent from the school in early September for those that already have their Volunteer Police Clearance completed.

School Supplies
Student supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through Grade 3. Families are to provide indoor shoes, backpacks, lunch, and snacks. You may also choose to send your child with a water bottle.
