Member of the Legislative Assembly visit:

On Friday, MLA Samir Kayande came to Windsor Park School to see our new community and speak with students. Our grade 2 and 3s have been learning about municipal, provincial and federal government in social studies therefore this visit was a timely opportunity. He spoke about his work in Edmonton and his community duties. It was an informative visit!

Mr. Grant’s retirement:

Special guest Mr. Ian Grant will be coming to school for a celebration! Parents and guests are welcome to come! Our theme is Hawaiian dress as Mr. Grant loves Hawaii and everything tropical. The assembly begins at 2pm Thursday, April 23 in the gym.

Earth Day:

Students are encouraged to wear green and blue on Wednesday! Our entire school will be planting a seed and having conversations about ecology, what we can do to care for our earth.  Earth Day (April 22) aligns with Indigenous worldviews that emphasize reciprocity, stewardship, and the belief that all life is interconnected. 

Modular announcement:

CBE Welcomes Funding for 46 New Modular Classrooms - News Centre - CBE Windsor Park School will be receiving two modular classrooms. I will share more about the timeline for the completion of the installation of the modulars and the location – when I receive that information.
