Thanks and gratitude
There are so many parents to thank for their time, efforts and care to make our school community an engaging and memorable place to be. Extra thanks to our grade 3 parents for bringing sweets, treats, and coffee for Ms. Sprau’s farewell party – you are the best!
Ms. Sprau’s Retirement Assembly
Our Windsor Park Puffins put together a celebratory assembly for Ms. Sprau to recognize her incredible 32 year career. Ms. Sprau was so touched to listen to our songs and dance, as well as have special guest speakers from Elboya. It was an exhilarating send off for a much loved teacher!
Field Day
Windsor Park participated in our first field day on Thursday. Students had lots of fun playing a over 20 different activities on our field. Thanks and gratitude to over 25 volunteers for making this a special event. Big hugs of thanks to Mr. Vanderlinden for coordinating the activities and to his class for creating posters and preparing the resources. It was a hit!!
Quail Farewell
Our grade 1s hatched and raised two very special quail named Spiky and Sunny. What an incredible scientific experience to learn about life cycles and teacher responsibility, care and observation. Thanks to Ms Mah and Ms Agha for all of their effort and time to bring this experience to the classroom.

Roots of Empathy Farewell
Our kindergartens have spent the year with our tiny teacher, Baby Ellie, learning about empathy and the love and care a baby needs to grow. We have had an incredible time with Baby Ellie, her mom Lee, and her brothers Louie and Ari. This is an international program that we are proud to have at Windsor Park School. Home - Roots of Empathy
Windsor Park Bike Parade
Andre and his parents have been leading a bike parade to school. Our Bike parade will begin at Elboya and follow this map to school. If you would like to join, please text Andre’s family. The parade will be every morning starting at 7:45am. Students are responsible for bring their bike home each day. Remember a lock and helmet! Parents are welcome to ride along with us too! We’ve had up to 35 riders joining us and we’re proud of our school spirit!
Staffing
We will have several new staff members joining Windsor Park as we grow to a K-4 school. We will share our staffing compliment later this week.

Cheque Writing Campaign
With only a few days left in the school year, there is still time to donate to Windsor Park School for the 2025–2026 school year. Please consider making ANY donation as the funding directly impacts the ability for the school to provide many of the unique extracurricular activities. Our school administrators have many great initiatives that will provide our kids with a fulfilling and well-rounded experience and development in and outside the classroom

Casino Update
We are happy to share that the Calgary Windsor Park School Parent Fundraising Society has been confirmed by AGLC as eligible to conduct casino and gaming events.
Within approximately two months, we should receive an email from the Casino License Team requesting additional paperwork and asking for our slotting window for a casino.
A huge thank you to parent Claire for working with AGLC to submit all of the required paperwork, and to Christine for all of her support in this effort.
Movie Night Shout-Out

Upcoming Council and Fundraising Society Meeting
On Thursday, June 25 at 7:30, we will hold one final meeting to wrap up the year and begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year.
This meeting will be held virtually.
If you cannot attend but would still like to be involved in the School Council or the Fundraising Society next year, please reach out to WindsorParkVolunteer@gmail.com.

Report Cards
Notification | Report Cards available Thurs., June 25
Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students June 25 – July 31, 2026 through MyCBE. Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child's teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information.
- Please note: After July 31, 2026, report cards will no longer be available to access in MyCBE.
