Stay Informed

Dear Windsor Park families,

We experienced a significant change in the weather today, with a mini snowstorm greeting us at the start of the school day. It likely caught many students and families by surprise.

Thank you for ensuring your child comes to school with warm clothing and appropriate footwear, including boots, as temperatures continue to drop. To help us return lost items, please consider labeling all clothing and accessories, especially mitts and toques, with a permanent marker. You can also support our school by purchasing labels through our Mabel's Labels fundraiser. https://mabelslabels.ca/fundraising/support

Thank you for your support as we transition into the colder months.

Halloween Costumes

Costume Day Oct 30 Here is all you need to know if your child chooses to wear a costume to school:

  • Dressing up is completely optional
  • Please come to school in the morning already in your costume (students will not be able to change at school)
  • Please save scary costumes and Blow Up costumes for the weekend (e.g., gore, blood, SUPER scary, inappropriate for school masks)
  • Please leave all props at home for safe keeping (e.g., swords, wands, weapons of any kind, and masks). We appreciate your support in helping us share costumes while also staying focused on learning.
  • NOTE: Halloween treats: students can bring a treat for themselves. We will not be sharing treats or allowing whole-class treats (allergies and food preferences)

If you have questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher through email.

This is a family night so all children must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Advanced ticket sales end on Sunday October 25th, tickets will be available at the door.

As always we need the support of volunteers to make this night a success! If you are interested in helping out with this event please sign up here to volunteer.

Raffle - We're making great progress!

We have sold 30% of all available ticket packs and 50% of our $100 ticket packs, and if we can sell just 25 more packs, we'll exceed our fundraising goal! Plus, the 50/50 jackpot is now at $665 and growing, making this a great time to get your tickets.

A huge shoutout to Ms. Scanlan's class, who continues to lead the way as our top-selling classroom!

We're currently tracking toward approximately $4,200 in profit, which is fantastic. However, our school's wish list includes more than $30,000 in student-focused initiatives, including swimming lessons, Alien Inline programming, gym equipment, and classroom enhancements.

Every ticket sold helps bring us one step closer to providing these valuable opportunities for our students. While this raffle alone won't fund the entire wish list, it can make a significant impact and help us tackle some of our biggest priorities.

If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, or if you can help by selling a few more to family and friends, now is the perfect time. Let's keep the momentum going, push past our fundraising goal, and make an even bigger difference for our students. Thank you for your support and don't forget Ticket Sales End at 6:00pm on October 30.
