School News:
Windsor Park shared in a joyful caroling event this morning in the gym. Students enjoyed singing, a little dancing, and a tiny fashion show of their festive wear. All of the doors at Windsor Park have been decorated and are shining bright! Thanks and gratitude to our families for sharing in the fun and frivolity of the season. We ask that families not send food treats over the next week.
Volunteer Opportunities:
With our first residency soon upon us, we are hoping some parents will be able to volunteer for our alien in-line skating January 12-16, 2026. As we have a significant number of younger students, we will need help tying skates to make the most of our time with our skating coach. Please Sign Up.
Call for volunteers for the Family Valentines Dance
Planned for Thursday February 5!
Please email windsorparkvolunteer@gmail.com with the subject family dance if you would like to help plan the dance.
The first planning meeting for the dance will be early January based on schedules.
Eye See Eye Learn:
Kindergarten students are eligible for a free eye exam and potential glasses. All children should have regular eye exams. For more information, please look at the website
Speech Support:
Alberta Health Service Pediatric Community Rehabilitation Services offers free speech (i.e., articulation/pronunciation) assessment and therapy to children 0-18 years old. Parents can self-refer their child using the direct intake phone number: 403-910-2070. They will need to leave a voicemail message and can then wait for a call back to set up the assessment/therapy. Please ask your child’s teacher if you have questions about your child’s articulation and being easily understood.
Lost clothing:
With the colder weather, children have many more items to keep track of with the help from their parents and teachers. Please ensure their names are in their mitts, snowpants, hats, shoes, boots, and hoodies just in case they end up down the hallway or outside. Windsor Park has a Mabels Labels account and the school receives a bonus when families purchase labels!

Spirit Of Christmas:
Windsor Park School is joining Klub Kare to assist in collecting gifts for the The Magic of Christmas is a 100% volunteer, non-denominational charity based in the city of Calgary.
Every Christmas Eve, we load up Calgary Transit buses, magically transformed into “reindeer buses,” with hundreds of gifts and volunteers dressed as Santa and his elves. Then, we do what we do best—deliver Christmas spirit into the homes and hearts of those who need it most.
A list of donations is on our website. Please bring donations to the office so we can safely store them for pick up. Thanks and gratitude to those that have already donated – Windsor Park is a generous community!
