Calgary Flames Classroom Crew

Thank you to Charlotte’s mom for putting our school forward for this amazing opportunity. We learned how to play floor hockey and received brand new sticks! This week 3 Calgary Wranglers Hockey Players, Carter, Simon Mack and Lucas visited all of our students and even played floor hockey with Miss Mah’s class. Learning about being a professional athlete, persevering with challenges, and setting goals were highlights from this opportunity.

Alien Inline

Our alien in-line residency has been postponed until April 2026. Thank you to parents that had signed up to volunteer. We look forward to this opportunity in the future.

Mabel’s Labels

Hats, mitts, hoodies and snow pants are regularly left behind by students. Labelled items are always returned to students in a timely manner. Lost library books

We have a small but beautiful library collection. To ensure we have good books for students, please help us locate and return any missing books. Books are very special to us and we are trying to keep student accounts as up to date as possible. As per CBE policy, we are required to let families know of book replacement costs, if not returned and/or Lost. Please know that online payment is preferred through your “MyCBE Account” where school fees are paid. If the book is found later, it can be returned and fees will be refunded to you during the current school year.

Council Meeting

Our next council meeting will be Wednesday, January 21 at 7pm. We will be sharing our plans to create a school logo, the upcoming school dance, principal updates and information, as well as the opportunity for families to take part in discussions about our incredible school.

Family Dance

February 5 at 5:30pm in the Gym. 

This event is for the whole family!

The planning committee is meeting on Sunday Jan 11 at 2pm via teams/ google meet, email windsorparkvolunteer@gmail.com if you would like to attend. 

We are looking for donations for decorations and supplies, there are a few ways to help:

  • donate any Valentine's themed decorations or UNOPENED paper plates and napkins that you no longer need. Donations can be brought to the school or email windsorparkvolunteer@gmail.com to coordinate drop off. 
  • purchase items from our amazon wish list 
  • donate dollar store gift cards

Ticket sales will start the week of Jan 12 through healthy hunger and will be available at the door. 

A call for 'day of' volunteers will be coming shortly as well!
