Jump Rope for Heart and Grade 3 Art Adventures
Windsor Park students have been having a fantastic time practicing their skipping skills and learning new tricks as part of our Jump Rope for Heart campaign. The energy and enthusiasm throughout the school have been wonderful to see.
This week, our Grade 3 students enjoyed a memorable field trip to the Leighton Art Centre near Millarville, AB. During their visit, students created impressive wire art sculptures, which are now proudly displayed in our hallway showcase cabinets. They also explored the beautiful grounds, took in the scenery, and enjoyed peaceful time in nature.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who volunteered and helped make this experience possible. The Leighton Art Centre offers summer camps and a variety of creative opportunities for families. It is truly a place where art, nature, and history come alive.
Windsor Park School Council Update
A warm hello from your Windsor Park School Council.
After a slow start to the year, and the need to establish our council from scratch (unfortunately delayed by the strike), we have found our footing and are building positive momentum toward creating a fun, inclusive, and spirited atmosphere at Windsor Park School.
We would like to remind all parents that School Council is your voice within the school. It is your opportunity to stay informed about initiatives led by administration and to provide feedback and input to the Principal, as well as on events and initiatives organized by School Council.
Attendance at meetings does not require action or input, but your presence is appreciated so that we can adequately represent your voice within the school community, to the Principal, to the CBE, and to our trustee.
School Council is also responsible for planning and organizing school events, such as the Family Dance, year-end celebrations, and other fun initiatives. We encourage you to get involved, contribute where possible, and share your ideas for future events.
We are always in need of volunteers to help make our students’ experiences and school culture the best they can be.
Our next Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held online, so please feel free to join and listen in.

Family Dance Committee Thank You
The Family Dance Committee would like to thank all the families who attended our first Family Dance on February 5. We also extend a sincere thank you to the families who supported the Amazon wish list. Without your generous donations, the dance would not have been such a success.
