We hope all our families have enjoyed some fun and adventurous moments this summer! We are excited to open Windsor Park School and welcome everyone to this new K–3 learning community in the Calgary Board of Education. It’s an exciting journey filled with optimism, care, and community spirit.
Over the summer, many upgrades have been made to our building, including new furnaces, a boiler system, bathrooms, and improved ventilation. More enhancements are planned for the coming year, such as new windows and doors, to continue improving the learning environment for our students.
Sneak-a-Peek Invitation – Friday, August 29 | 12:00–1:00 PM
To help ease the transition into the new school year, we invite all students and their families to join us for a “Sneak-a-Peek” event. This will be a wonderful opportunity to explore the school, see classrooms, meet our staff and start building excitement and comfort in the new space. We understand some families will be away for the long weekend and another time and date will be offered during the week of September 2- 5.
Classroom Teacher Information
Teachers will send a personalized welcome message on Monday, September 1, introducing themselves and letting you know who your child’s classroom teacher will be.
First Day of School
- Grades 1–3: Tuesday, September 2, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Kindergarten: Staggered entry will take place to support a smooth and supportive start for our youngest learners. Details are available on our website.
Transportation Information
Bus route details will not be posted online. Families who have pre-registered for transportation through MyCBE for the 2025–26 school year will receive individual stop information directly. For additional details, please visit the CBE Transportation page.
Windsor Klub Care
Windsor Klub Care is offering before and after school care to Windsor Park families within the school. Please visit their website for more information https://www.klubcare.com/ Their team will also be onsite on this Friday during our open house.
